Western Gas, Operator of exploration permit WA-519-P, advised that the Sasanof-1 exploration well offshore Western Australia was drilled.
The well was drilled well to a total depth of 2390 m RMDT by the Valaris MS-1 rig without incident. No commercial hydrocarbons were intersected.
