GD Energy Products strengthens Canadian service and repair capabilities with new Grande Prairie facility

Jul 11, 2023

GD Energy Products (GDEP), the leading total solutions provider for the frac, drilling, and well servicing pumps market, has expanded its Canadian reach with a fully integrated sales, service and repair facility in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Located in the northern part of Alberta, Canada, the new location will feature more than 11,000 square-feet of work space, including a dedicated pull-through wash bay and two pull-through service bays with a 10-ton crane. The facility will provide immediate access to on-hand parts, service techs, and customer support. GDEP’s customers will receive expedited response and delivery timelines in conjunction with the company’s branch in Edmonton, Alberta.

Chad Marthaller, branch manager, GDEP, said, “We are excited to double our footprint in Canada. Our former site in Grande Prairie focused on supporting regional customers with our readily available parts. This new location will expand on the previous offering by providing dedicated service bays and trained pump technicians to keep fleets up and running, as well as our high-performance consumables.”

While serving customers in northern Alberta and British Columbia, the new facility will strengthen GDEP’s global footprint by bringing the company’s industry leading consumables straight to customers. The Grande Prairie location will also enhance GDEP’s commitment to its valued customers by providing a local service option for maintenance on fluid ends and power ends.

Marthaller added, “Canada has a highly active energy sector in Grande Prairie and we recognize the opportunity for growth within the area. We look forward to serving our customers locally with the first-rate service and repair capabilities that has become synonymous with GDEP across the globe.”
