CCS Facilities Projects

The Database which includes information on active, proposed, and terminated CCS projects worldwide, publicly available information has been aggregated with independently gathered, compiled and assessed project information and developments.

This provides the public with information regarding efforts by various industries, public groups, and governments that are being made towards development and eventual deployment of CCS technology.

CO2 Storage Resources

The CO2 Storage Resource database is an independent assessment of the maturity of geologic CO2 storage evaluations worldwide on 30 countries of public resource provided by oil and gas global leaders, compiled purely from public domain sources.

The CO2 Storage Resource database includes CO2 storage in saline aquifers and depleted or partially depleted oil and gas fields but excludes CO2-Enhanced Oil Recovery (CO2-EOR) and other storage options such as unmineable coal, mineralisation and organic-rich shales.

The goal of the CO2 Storage Resource research is to become the global repository for all future storage resource assessments.
